Spectators: 7245 (Terracing: 5435, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julio Chumo started the match with the kick off. Lipeo's Melquiades Venceslao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Lipeo from getting a goal against them. Rafael Mendiko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th minute, Loventué's Rafael Mendiko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 25th minute Faustino Perfecto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Campos Luis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lipeo's zone, Talip Rical stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Venceslao came out of the goal and Talip Rical tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Loventué's Rafael Mendiko ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melquiades Venceslao. Melquiades Venceslao yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 40th minute, Julio Chumo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the game, Julio Chumo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Campos Luis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Rafael Mendiko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melquiades Venceslao having to make a save. The supporters of Loventué booed when Lipeo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Perfecto didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Talip Rical in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Venceslao saved Lipeo from getting behind. 68 minutes into the game, Loventué's Talip Rical nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melquiades Venceslao made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Loventué's Campos Luis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Gaskon in the 74th minute of play. Melquiades Venceslao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Talip Rical, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Talip Rical fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Venceslao having to interfere. A collision led to Lipeo getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Bernardo Rio hit a great ball. Melquiades Venceslao came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Loventué's Talip Rical. But to his dismay, Talip Rical quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Rafael Mendiko might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Venceslao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Mendiko ran back to his position shaking his head. 96 minutes into the match, Lipeo's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Mendiko came free, but Melquiades Venceslao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Loventué were the better team. Loventué's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
