Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raul Miliano started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Rico during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Rodrigo Rico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hipolito Rudolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute, Artemio Videl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leandro Hug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Maura having to interfere. When Santiago Matia fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palominos's protests and gave Santiago Matia a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Palominos! In the 36th minute there was a penalty for Fortin FC. Honorato Silbestre stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leo Maura. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Miliano in the 39th minute of play forced Fortin FC's goalkeeper Vicente Arotza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Hustaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Arotza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leandro Hug stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hipolito Rudolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Vicente Arotza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Miliano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Artemio Videl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hipolito Rudolfo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute of the match Israel Orlanda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leo Maura showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Arsenio Liher could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Leo Maura however easily saved by the left post. Palominos's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Leandro Hug 77 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. 85 minutes into the match, Hipolito Rudolfo notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Fortin FC's Vicente Arotza. Vicente Arotza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th match minute, Palominos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Hustaz to maneuver through the defense. Arsenio Liher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Palominos's Hipolito Rudolfo got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Fortin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Rudolfo came free, but Vicente Arotza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fortin FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
