The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Florencio Jusepe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Paulo Txanton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 6 minutes into the match, Atlantis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Talip Rical came free, but Paulo Txanton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Mendiko in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Txanton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adan Sugar during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, Adan Sugar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rafael Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Loventué booed when Atlantis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Inko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Talip Rical received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Paulo Txanton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Mario Bartolome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Mendiko struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Paulo Txanton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loventué. After 25th play minutes Rafael Mendiko shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Paulo Txanton and just under the crossbar into goal. Camilo Inko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Txanton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Talip Rical, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute Marcelo Refugio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Txanton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Talip Rical managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loventué's supporters crossed their fingers, but Talip Rical was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th match minute, Loventué was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Refugio to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Rafael Mendiko sped through Atlantis FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paulo Txanton. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Talip Rical to strike the kick off in the second half. Talip Rical fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Txanton having to interfere. Rafael Mendiko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Txanton having to make a save. Fernando Mingo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Camilo Inko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Camilo Inko came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Atlantis FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Inko couldn't finish the play. Paulo Txanton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Mendiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When Fernando Mingo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 69 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Campos Luis was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Mendiko in the 74th minute of play forced Atlantis FC's goalkeeper Paulo Txanton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Xabat charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Xabat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristian Xabat hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. If Rafael Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernando Mingo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Camilo Inko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Campos Luis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Talip Rical might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Txanton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Talip Rical ran back to his position shaking his head. Atlantis FC's Paulo Txanton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Atlantis FC from getting a goal against them. Adan Sugar hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Loventué played a much better game than Atlantis FC and deserved their victory. The Atlantis FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
