If Arsenio Liher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsenio Liher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Campos Luis having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Eduardo Normando recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Campos Luis. Eduardo Normando showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Campos Luis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Hug, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Rico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Campos Luis made a huge save. Vicente Arotza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Mendiko in the 37th minute of the match. Leandro Hug's late challenge caught a Loventué's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Hug helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes Fortin FC got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Hug.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leandro Hug to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Talip Rical cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Vicente Arotza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute, Eduardo Normando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Loventué getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Erasmo Oliverio hit a great ball. Rafael Mendiko, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Leandro Hug was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. The supporters of Loventué booed when Fortin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Hug didn't get a good kick on the ball.
