Wilfredo Montay helped the player get up and apologised. 17 minutes into the game, one of Atlantis FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Fernando Mingo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Inko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Fagildo having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Mi Pirata Cordobé's Nicolas Eufrasio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulo Txanton.
