Spectators: 7290 (Terracing: 5470, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isaias Aragones started the match with the kick off. After 3rd play minutes Freddy Venerando shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Misael Viya and just under the crossbar into goal. Isaias Aragones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Misael Viya having to interfere. Cayetano Donzel hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Alonzo Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Candido Txilar sent off a good shot on target. Dalmacio Laurentzi's late challenge caught a Junín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmacio Laurentzi helped the player get up and apologised. Dalmacio Laurentzi hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Venerando in the 28th minute of play forced Junín's goalkeeper Misael Viya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Icaño AFC were awarded a corner. Gaston Cordairo went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Dalmacio Laurentzi managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Candido Txilar struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Alonzo Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Junín. After the first half Icaño AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Candido Txilar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Alonzo Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, Junín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Berriotxoa to maneuver through the defense. Candido Txilar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Azevedo having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Icaño AFC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Ekhi. In the 63rd minute Delmar Delfino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Junín getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Severiano Gartzi hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Candido Txilar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delmar Delfino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Icaño AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
