Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Florentino Steven successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Teofilo Urtzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Florentino Steven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th match minute, Franja Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Ignado to maneuver through the defense. Florentino Steven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Berbiz in the 13th minute of play. After 32 played minutes Ayajaso got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Edwardo. The crowd rose to their feet as Franja Football Club's Teofilo Urtzi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florentino Steven. That made the score 4-0 after 34 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Franja Football Club's Aquilino Gaskon got a free kick in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Franja Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Rozarius came free, but Nereo Cibran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Angelo Rozarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Ignado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Steven having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leo Raymundo made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Astor Berbiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Cayetano Stanislao was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. After 83 played minutes Ayajaso got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Stanislao. In the 85th minute Astor Berbiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Steven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Astor Berbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Astor Berbiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florentino Steven. Ayajaso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Astor Berbiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Florentino Steven stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Astor Berbiz's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teofilo Urtzi in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florentino Steven prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teofilo Urtzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Florentino Steven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franja Football Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
