Delmar Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Ciro Garaona made a huge save. Delmar Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute Americo Eudoxio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Mino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmar Cruz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Ciro Garaona skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Galvan's Ciro Garaona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Cruz in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes in the game, Aurelio Paez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ciro Garaona having to interfere. Americo Eudoxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Mino having to interfere. If Aurelio Paez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, one of Sportivo Backyardigans:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sportivo Backyardigans. The referee gave Galvan a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ivan Domenec, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sportivo Backyardigans's Marcial Mino. 0-1. If Aurelio Paez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Galvan's Candido Bizi got a free kick in the 47th minute. Sportivo Backyardigans's Eriberto Acevedo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Galvan.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulino Miliano made a kick off. If Paulino Miliano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the game, Aurelio Paez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ciro Garaona was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 60th match minute, Galvan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Bizi to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Paez scored 2-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciro Garaona, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Delmar Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Paez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ciro Garaona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Backyardigans's zone, Americo Eudoxio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Mino came out of the goal and Americo Eudoxio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcial Mino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Miliano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severo Marino's late challenge caught a Galvan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severo Marino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, Severo Marino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Garaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Cruz in the 85th minute of play. Ciro Garaona came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Backyardigans's Delmar Cruz. But to his dismay, Delmar Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Delmar Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Paez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Galvan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sportivo Backyardigans:s goal. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Sportivo Backyardigans. Eriberto Acevedo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ciro Garaona. 4-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sportivo Backyardigans had played much better football throughout.
