Higinio Bonadona might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Jon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Higinio Bonadona ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Bonadona in the 32nd minute of play forced Club Atletico Tucuman's goalkeeper Camilo Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Higinio Bonadona hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Higinio Bonadona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Jon having to interfere. Margarita's Efrain Weather got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Club Atletico Tucuman's Camilo Jon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Ourente in the 53rd minute of play. Higinio Bonadona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Camilo Jon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Bonadona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Camilo Jon made a huge save. Higinio Bonadona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camilo Jon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Camilo Jon made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Higinio Bonadona sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisito Karmel in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Otsando saved Margarita from getting behind. Luisito Karmel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Amadeo Otsando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Margarita's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
