Club Atletico Tucuman's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfonso Asur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Club Atletico Tucuman getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Aquiles Salvino hit a great ball. In the 10th minute of the match, Luisito Karmel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Americo Galsino was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Club Atletico Tucuman's Luisito Karmel got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Tucuman's Luisito Karmel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Americo Galsino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Camilo Jon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Asur in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Alfonso Asur managed to get in a good position for a shot. ClubAtléticoTrenzasUnidas's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Asur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Jon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Club Atletico Tucuman booed when ClubAtléticoTrenzasUnidas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Rydsteen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Piarres kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Alfonso Asur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Librado in the 31st minute of play forced Club Atletico Tucuman's goalkeeper Camilo Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Librado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Jon having to interfere. Gonzalo Librado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gonzalo Librado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tolgahan Şah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Jon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Gonzalo Librado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half ClubAtléticoTrenzasUnidas were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Segundo Lluterio to make the kick off. Oliver Rydsteen's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Tucuman's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oliver Rydsteen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd match minute, ClubAtléticoTrenzasUnidas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Rydsteen to maneuver through the defense. Serafin Nafarroa kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Americo Galsino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Lluterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Jon came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by ClubAtléticoTrenzasUnidas's Alfonso Asur. But to his dismay, Alfonso Asur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 67 minutes of play, ClubAtléticoTrenzasUnidas's Alfonso Asur made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Jon was left in no man's land by his defense there! 75 minutes into the game, Tolgahan Şah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ClubAtléticoTrenzasUnidas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Tucuman the free kick. Tolgahan Şah hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. ClubAtléticoTrenzasUnidas's Americo Galsino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Karmel in the 77th minute of play. Alfonso Asur was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. ClubAtléticoTrenzasUnidas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Alfonso Asur was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 86 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Tucuman's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Asur came free, but Camilo Jon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfonso Asur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Jon having to make a save. Camilo Jon came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by ClubAtléticoTrenzasUnidas's Gonzalo Librado. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Librado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 94th minute, Gonzalo Librado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ClubAtléticoTrenzasUnidas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. ClubAtléticoTrenzasUnidas played a much better game than Club Atletico Tucuman and deserved their victory. The Club Atletico Tucuman players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
