Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wilfredo Henric got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Guernica FC's Braulio Tabb ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arturo Tibalt. Arturo Tibalt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Teodoro Lidon might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arturo Tibalt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodoro Lidon ran back to his position shaking his head. Guernica FC's Teo Flores got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Wilfredo Henric had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Victor Matei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Lidon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Tibalt having to interfere. Provincial F.C's Victor Matei got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Henric cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Arnulfo Lope was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Guernica FC defense, Victor Matei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnulfo Lope. The Guernica FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnulfo Lope should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Braulio Tabb managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guernica FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Tabb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Tibalt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Barros hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. After the first half Provincial F.C were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Teodoro Lidon made the kick off in the second half. Arturo Tibalt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Provincial F.C defense, Teo Flores kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arturo Tibalt. The Provincial F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arturo Tibalt should have stopped the shot. Arturo Tibalt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Lidon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Provincial F.C's zone, Teodoro Lidon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Tibalt came out of the goal and Teodoro Lidon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teo Flores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Matei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Henric in the 77th minute of play forced Guernica FC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Lope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Wilfredo Henric came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Provincial F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Henric couldn't finish the play. Braulio Tabb charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Braulio Tabb the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Braulio Tabb hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Arnulfo Lope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Henric in the 82nd minute of the match. Cristian Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnulfo Lope made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Victor Matei sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Provincial F.C defense, Braulio Tabb kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arturo Tibalt. The Provincial F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arturo Tibalt should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Guernica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Henric came free, but Arnulfo Lope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 minutes of play Guernica FC's Braulio Tabb was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 95 played minutes Guernica FC got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Tabb. 96 minutes into the match, Provincial F.C's Victorio Rito broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Victor Matei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guernica FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Provincial F.C for a fine match.
