When Victor Honesto fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yeruá's protests and gave Victor Honesto a yellow card for diving instead. Victor Honesto kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Baltasar Lando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Gelmiro having to interfere. Fabricio Gelmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Donio in the 24th minute of play. Jonas George hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Yeruá's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Donio came free, but Fabricio Gelmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Gabrio kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Fabricio Gelmiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baltasar Lando's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. When Hermanos Del Poniente's Jacobo Donio in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee showed Lázaro Loreto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabricio Gelmiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baltasar Lando to make the kick off. Fabricio Gelmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Lando, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Yeruá's zone, Baltasar Lando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabricio Gelmiro came out of the goal and Baltasar Lando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Hermanos Del Poniente's Jacobo Donio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabricio Gelmiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Yeruá's goalkeeper Fabricio Gelmiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacobo Donio. 69 minutes into the match, Yeruá's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Lando came free, but Fabricio Gelmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Javier Evarado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anacleto Cefero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Bordat having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Anacleto Cefero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yeruá's supporters rose to their feet, but Anacleto Cefero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anier Bordat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anacleto Cefero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Bordat having to interfere. Anacleto Cefero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Anier Bordat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Yeruá's Mario Cordairo got a free kick in the 89th minute. Yeruá's Fabricio Gelmiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Yeruá from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute, one of Yeruá:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Yeruá. In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Hermanos Del Poniente. Urbano Matei stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fabricio Gelmiro. 0-6. In the 98th minute Anacleto Cefero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Bordat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
