In the 5th minute Silvano Natal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Lope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes Guernica FC got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Tabb. 7 minutes into the match, Belgrano Football Club's Saul Kinsen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 9 minutes into the match, Guernica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Ruisko came free, but Arnulfo Lope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Silvano Natal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! When Braulio Tabb came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Guernica FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Tabb couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Belgrano Football Club's Eulalio Firmo got a free kick in the 31st minute. Melquiades Ruisko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Lope having to interfere. Arnulfo Lope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Natal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teo Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Arnulfo Lope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Ruisko in the 41st minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Teo Flores managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guernica FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Flores was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Tuste breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodoro Lidon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Silvano Natal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Guernica FC's Arnulfo Lope got control of the ball when Melquiades Ruisko tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, one of Guernica FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Guernica FC. Teodoro Lidon struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Luciano Tuste didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guernica FC.
