Rosendo Luzaide helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pinito F.C. booed when Provincial F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Luzaide didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fulgencio Galsino kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Pinito F.C.'s Mauricio Markel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Rito in the 14th minute of play. Augusto Fliz kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Mauricio Markel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Matei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Gar kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Mauricio Markel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Henric, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Gar in the 25th minute of play forced Pinito F.C.'s goalkeeper Mauricio Markel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 48 minutes, Paolo Gaizkine mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pinito F.C. and the Provincial F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinito F.C.'s goalkeeper Mauricio Markel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pinito F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cristian Barros 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Mauricio Markel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Henric in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute Wilfredo Henric shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Markel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gerardo Jaunzuria came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Pinito F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Jaunzuria couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd match minute, Provincial F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Matei to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Felix Gaitano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Provincial F.C's Arturo Tibalt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Gaitano in the 85th minute of play. Arturo Tibalt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Jaunzuria in the 86th minute of play. Felix Gaitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Tibalt having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Provincial F.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pinito F.C..
