In the 3rd minute Marcos Sotil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Markel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Pinito F.C. defense, Silvano Natal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauricio Markel. The Pinito F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauricio Markel should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Belgrano Football Club getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Melquiades Ruisko hit a great ball. The supporters of Belgrano Football Club booed when Pinito F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Fliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes Belgrano Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Jago. In the 20th minute, Melquiades Ruisko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauricio Markel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, Melquiades Ruisko notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Pinito F.C.'s Mauricio Markel. Mauricio Markel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Belgrano Football Club's Marcos Sotil got a free kick in the 31st minute. If Felix Gaitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paolo Gaizkine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Belgrano Football Club defense, Felix Gaitano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luciano Tuste. The Belgrano Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luciano Tuste should have stopped the shot. Gerardo Jaunzuria might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luciano Tuste. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerardo Jaunzuria ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvano Natal to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Melquiades Ruisko got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mauricio Markel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Luciano Tuste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Gaitano, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 55 minutes, Fulgencio Galsino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pinito F.C. and the Belgrano Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fulgencio Galsino kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Mauricio Markel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Jago in the 58th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Belgrano Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Jaunzuria came free, but Luciano Tuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Felix Gaitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 66th minute Fidel Raebert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Tuste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Pinito F.C.'s Augusto Fliz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Augusto Fliz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pinito F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Augusto Fliz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Augusto Fliz kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Saul Kinsen struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Mauricio Markel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano Football Club. Pinito F.C.'s Gerardo Jaunzuria got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Fidel Raebert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Belgrano Football Club's Mauricio Markel threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Silvano Natal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 81 minutes into the match, Pinito F.C.'s goalkeeper Mauricio Markel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melquiades Ruisko. Luciano Tuste didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Gaitano went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the match, Felix Gaitano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luciano Tuste. Belgrano Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Gaitano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Gerardo Jaunzuria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerardo Jaunzuria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Belgrano Football Club succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Pinito F.C. had controlled the match.
