If Jesus Claus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, CA MATIENZO's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Mero came free, but Casimiro Kimetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesus Claus scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casimiro Kimetz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dionisio Iyan got free with Severo Vincente in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of CA MATIENZO booed when Patricios FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Cai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anastasio Txurio in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Severo Vincente, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 22 minutes, Arnaldo Batista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA MATIENZO and the Patricios FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, CA MATIENZO's Arnaldo Batista got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Anastasio Txurio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingos Cai hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes Patricios FC got a freekick which was hit by Damian Beltran. Casimiro Kimetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Mero, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in CA MATIENZO's zone, Damian Beltran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Kimetz came out of the goal and Damian Beltran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnaldo Batista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severo Vincente having to make a save. With a little luck, Patricios FC's Severo Vincente got control of the ball when Anastasio Txurio tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Anastasio Txurio came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the CA MATIENZO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Txurio couldn't finish the play. The CA MATIENZO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Patricios FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Lino Mero made the kick off in the second half. Jesus Claus struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Casimiro Kimetz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patricios FC. Jesus Claus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casimiro Kimetz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CA MATIENZO's Arnaldo Batista got a free kick in the 58th minute. When Jesus Claus came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Patricios FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesus Claus couldn't finish the play. After 63 minutes Patricios FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Osvaldo Frascuelo who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of CA MATIENZO booed when Patricios FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Beltran didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Freddy Eusko during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st minute, one of Patricios FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Patricios FC. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for CA MATIENZO. Osvaldo Frascuelo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Severo Vincente. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in CA MATIENZO's zone, Jesus Claus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Kimetz came out of the goal and Jesus Claus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Lino Mero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Primitivo Berbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Arnaldo Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesus Claus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Kimetz having to interfere. Teo Peruanton kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Lino Mero struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Casimiro Kimetz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patricios FC. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CA MATIENZO fans cheered their team off the field, for while Patricios FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
