Spectators: 7244 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mateo Nesor kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Espeleta FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Paublo. Celestino Ruy's late challenge caught a C. A. Maquina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celestino Ruy helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C. A. Maquina booed when Espeleta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Ruy didn't get a good kick on the ball. C. A. Maquina's Candido Elija shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arnulfo Guillerme but with some difficulty. Guaberto Rozarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Arnulfo Guillerme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Gau got free with Arnulfo Guillerme in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guaberto Rozarius might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnulfo Guillerme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guaberto Rozarius ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnulfo Guillerme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Rozarius in the 13th minute of the match. When C. A. Maquina's Guaberto Rozarius in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Espeleta FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 27th minute, Mateo Nesor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Espeleta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. C. A. Maquina's Carmelo Tono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Rosario in the 31st minute of play. Rosendo Cordarryl hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Espeleta FC's Baltasar Ferrando broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 38th minute, Cornelio Rosario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th match minute, C. A. Maquina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Bihar to maneuver through the defense. Celestino Ruy kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Arnulfo Guillerme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Rozarius, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Espeleta FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

During the 53rd minute of the match Celestino Ruy completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Celestino Ruy a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 54th match minute, Espeleta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Ruy to maneuver through the defense. Cornelio Rosario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Carmelo Tono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rosendo Cordarryl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. The audience was convinced that Faustino Gau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnulfo Guillerme was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Celestino Ritchie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Guaberto Rozarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 played minutes Espeleta FC got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Nesor. In a very dangerous position, a player in Espeleta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! Arnulfo Guillerme had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Candido Elija's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Cornelio Rosario kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carmelo Tono. That made the score 1-3 in the 91 minute of play. The Espeleta FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Espeleta FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
