Spectators: 6250 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lino Mero started the match with the kick off. Patricios FC's Jesus Claus got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 7 played minutes Ensuciantes got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Serapio. Lino Mero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute, one of Ensuciantes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ensuciantes. The referee gave Patricios FC a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Primitivo Berbiz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ensuciantes's Cosme Hibai. 1-0. Lino Mero did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Cosme Hibai 15 minutes into the match. Arsenio Marquez's late challenge caught a Patricios FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arsenio Marquez helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes Ensuciantes got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Marquez. If Lino Mero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustacio Eutropio might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severo Vincente. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eustacio Eutropio ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesus Claus got free with Cosme Hibai in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Primitivo Berbiz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cosme Hibai. Ensuciantes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Rodolfo Astrada fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ensuciantes's protests and gave Rodolfo Astrada a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th match minute, Ensuciantes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Astrada to maneuver through the defense. Lino Mero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Cosme Hibai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Jesus Claus fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cosme Hibai made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Jesus Claus sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Jesus Claus got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cosme Hibai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesus Claus in the 49th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Lino Mero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes Patricios FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Cai. After 61 minutes, Benito Jerico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ensuciantes and the Patricios FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cosme Hibai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Claus in the 66th minute of the match. Benito Jerico was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Primitivo Berbiz, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Jesus Claus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cosme Hibai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Claus, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Lino Mero might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cosme Hibai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Mero ran back to his position shaking his head. When Lino Mero came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Patricios FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Mero couldn't finish the play. Lino Mero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Hibai having to interfere. Rodolfo Astrada hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
