In the 4th minute Segundo Pirro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Oriol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Segundo Pirro charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Segundo Pirro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Ayacucho's Segundo Pirro got a free kick in the 18th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Carlos Muno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Ayacucho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Muno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Muno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ceferino Egun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ceferino Egun got free with Abelardo Roderigo in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonides Oriol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Azibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Placido Malvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SASTRE A.E.:s Abelardo Roderigo showed great skill when he stopped Conrado Sotil:s penalty. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Muno to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Leonides Oriol rounded Club Atletico Ayacucho's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Ceferino Egun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SASTRE A.E.'s goalkeeper Abelardo Roderigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abelardo Roderigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Muno's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Abelardo Roderigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Muno in the 74th minute of play. Ciro Weather hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. SASTRE A.E.'s Abelardo Roderigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Muno in the 84th minute of play. Leonides Oriol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Malvin having to interfere. In the 95th minute Ceferino Egun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
