In the 14th minute, Lino Mero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Mero in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Roderigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 22 played minutes, Patricios FC's Mario Ishmael shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abelardo Roderigo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Patricios FC reached it. Severo Vincente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Oriol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SASTRE A.E.'s Abelardo Roderigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Claus in the 28th minute of play. Jesus Claus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abelardo Roderigo having to make a save. Lino Mero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Oriol in the 36th minute of play forced Patricios FC's goalkeeper Severo Vincente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Azibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Severo Vincente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Severo Vincente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Oriol in the 90th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Patricios FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
