Carmelo Tono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Mero in the 7th minute of the match. Severo Vincente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Gau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Faustino Gau made a precise shot to the right of Severo Vincente. Patricios FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Patricios FC's Severo Vincente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Rozarius in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute Faustino Gau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Vincente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severo Vincente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Gau in the 16th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Dante Claris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Lino Mero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carmelo Tono was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. If Dante Claris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricios FC's Primitivo Berbiz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for C. A. Maquina. Carmelo Tono made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Dante Claris sent off a good shot on target. Guaberto Rozarius might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severo Vincente. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guaberto Rozarius ran back to his position shaking his head. Carmelo Tono made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Dante Claris sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Guaberto Rozarius managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Maquina's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Rozarius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severo Vincente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Primitivo Berbiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guaberto Rozarius to make the kick off. Freddy Eusko hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, C. A. Maquina's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Mero came free, but Carmelo Tono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricios FC's Dante Claris got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Damian Beltran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patricios FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Maquina the free kick. Guaberto Rozarius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Vincente having to interfere. If Lino Mero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as C. A. Maquina's Guaberto Rozarius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Severo Vincente. That made the score 0-2 after 84 minutes of play. Guaberto Rozarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Severo Vincente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Patricios FC's Mario Ishmael got a free kick in the 96th minute. Severo Vincente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Candido Elija in the 97th minute.
