The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. RAVIOLERA AFC's Astor Estebe got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Astor Estebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Tono having to interfere. Roman Odol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Rozarius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 played minutes C. A. Maquina got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Cordarryl. If Astor Estebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Astor Estebe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carmelo Tono. The goal made the score 1-0. 44 minutes into the game, one of C. A. Maquina:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Leonides Eguerdi shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleto Espiridion to strike the kick off in the second half. Cleto Espiridion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Tono having to interfere. Astor Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Odol was a little too slow when Rosendo Cordarryl got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Gau got free with Roman Odol in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Maquina's zone, Genaro Quintin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Tono came out of the goal and Genaro Quintin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, RAVIOLERA AFC's Astor Estebe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carmelo Tono narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carmelo Tono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Estebe in the 71st minute of play. When Jose Millrick came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the RAVIOLERA AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Millrick couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the match, C. A. Maquina's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Espiridion came free, but Carmelo Tono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cleto Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmelo Tono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Estebe in the 83rd minute of the match. Astor Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Guaberto Rozarius kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roman Odol. That made the score 1-2 in the 95 minute of play. Although RAVIOLERA AFC had been in control for most of the match, C. A. Maquina still came away with the win.
