After 47 minutes, Enrique Orixe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zona Pedernera and the ROJOFUGAZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zona Pedernera's Cipriano Tonete got a free kick in the 54th minute. Zona Pedernera were furious when Ubaldo Jobo was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Marcial Vincente was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute, Valentin Abar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcial Vincente acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 82nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Guaberto Guipuzkoa. After a rather tough play, ROJOFUGAZ's Bruno Urtsua got a free kick in the 85th minute. When Jacques Boscher came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Zona Pedernera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacques Boscher couldn't finish the play. Zona Pedernera's Aquilino Virila landed with the leg in an unnatural angle after a tough challenge. The leg was fractured. Dario Edwardo's late challenge caught a Zona Pedernera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
