Spectators: 6978 (Terracing: 5478, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Guido Koldo kicked off to start the match. Guido Koldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Hugo Naike tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Rufio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Berriotxoa having to interfere. Sergio Berriotxoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Cordeiro's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Fabricio Bonadona notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Palmitas's Sergio Berriotxoa. Sergio Berriotxoa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute Virgilio Remicio suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 21 minutes, Severiano Benino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmitas and the Chovet FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Chovet FC's Tiburcio Errolan was substituted for Virgilio Remicio. A collision led to Palmitas getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Severiano Benino hit a great ball. Palmitas's Sergio Berriotxoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Palmitas from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Benino in the 27th minute of play forced Chovet FC's goalkeeper Hugo Naike to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Berriotxoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Rufio, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute, Joel Cordeiro made a precise shot to the right of Sergio Berriotxoa. Palmitas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 38 played minutes Palmitas got a freekick which was hit by Diego Quico. Fabricio Bonadona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Fermin Kauldi in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chovet FC's Abelardo Figueroa. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celso Rufio was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Chovet FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Orti to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Bonadona in the 57th minute of play forced Palmitas's goalkeeper Sergio Berriotxoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Cordeiro took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Berriotxoa. Sergio Berriotxoa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 64 minutes into the match, Palmitas's Guido Koldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Naike narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 64 minutes, Arnoldo Dalmai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chovet FC and the Palmitas players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Chovet FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Arnoldo Dalmai hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes, Palmitas's Cirilo Harriet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hugo Naike came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palmitas reached it. 67 minutes into the match, Chovet FC's Celso Rufio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergio Berriotxoa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 69thth minute of the game Celso Rufio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmitas's Sergio Berriotxoa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabricio Bonadona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergio Berriotxoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Palmitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Guido Koldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Naike saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Chovet FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Abelardo Figueroa hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Palmitas defense, Celso Rufio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergio Berriotxoa. The Palmitas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergio Berriotxoa should have stopped the shot. Sergio Berriotxoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celso Rufio's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Fabricio Bonadona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chovet FC's Hugo Naike proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Chovet FC from getting a goal against them. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chovet FC fully deserved thier win.
