A nice corner shot did that Victorino Valerio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alberto Virila quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Trikiniqui FC's Jacobo Theodore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Mannie in the 59th minute of play. Bartolo Orti's late challenge caught a Tafí AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bartolo Orti helped the player get up and apologised. 63 minutes into the match, Astor Mannie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Theodore. Trikiniqui FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Astor Mannie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Teobaldo Eate blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Virila having to make a save. Teobaldo Eate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Tafí AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Oier came free, but Alberto Virila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Victoriano Tabby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Astor Mannie in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Theodore saved Trikiniqui FC from getting behind. Bonifacio Kelemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tafí AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Trikiniqui FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
