Spectators: 7239 (Terracing: 5431, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Astor Mannie got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 7 minutes, Ladislao Maidana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brete's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislao Maidana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donato Guib had several of the Tafí AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Alberto Virila as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ladislao Maidana struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Alberto Virila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brete. Americo Piarres's late challenge caught a Brete's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Americo Piarres helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tafí AFC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Americo Piarres hit a great ball. Tafí AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Donato Guib scored to the left of an out of position Alberto Virila, making the score, 2-0. Tafí AFC's Alberto Virila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Guib in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Brete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Estebe to maneuver through the defense. Benigno Gaur took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bruno Nalo. Brete's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Donato Guib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severino Firme's late challenge caught a Tafí AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severino Firme helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Brete getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Severino Firme hit a great ball. Bonifacio Kelemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Nalo having to interfere. In the 48th minute of the match Tafí AFC got a corner. Brete's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benigno Gaur ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donato Guib made a kick off. Astor Mannie might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Nalo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Astor Mannie ran back to his position shaking his head. When Tafí AFC's Astor Mannie in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brete's goalie prevented a goal. Jonas Natanael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Bruno Nalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bonifacio Kelemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Nalo having to interfere. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tafí AFC's goalkeeper Alberto Virila, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Brete's zone, Bonifacio Kelemen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Nalo came out of the goal and Bonifacio Kelemen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bonifacio Kelemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Nalo having to interfere. Alberto Virila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Maidana in the 100th minute of the match. Brete's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
