When Valentin Abar fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zona Pedernera's protests and gave Valentin Abar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Zona Pedernera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Abar to maneuver through the defense. Zona Pedernera's Marcial Vincente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Mannie in the 25th minute of play. Tafí AFC's Astor Mannie got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesar Francho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrique Orixe hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Jacques Boscher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Nicolas Azubeli hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Marcial Vincente came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Tafí AFC's Bonifacio Kelemen. But to his dismay, Bonifacio Kelemen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gilberto Estevez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Cipriano Tonete fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zona Pedernera's protests and gave Cipriano Tonete a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Zona Pedernera's Cipriano Tonete got a free kick in the 70th minute. Marcial Vincente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Mannie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cesar Francho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zona Pedernera's Marcial Vincente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Mannie in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Ubaldo Jobo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zona Pedernera's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Jobo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Virila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st match minute, Zona Pedernera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Abar to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tafí AFC had won after a very even match.
