Adolfo Telo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Santos Delfino's late challenge caught a Saynatsalo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santos Delfino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Mixto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Delfino to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Arsenio Roldanillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Saynatsalo FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. The supporters of Saynatsalo FC booed when Mixto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Delfino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Pascual Checa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adolfo Telo was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. With a little luck, Saynatsalo FC's Silvestre Cristofol got control of the ball when Ildefonso Gonzo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
