The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Esteban Dubardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind DonPi FC's goalkeeper Amador Luix, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 8th minute Eriberto Romelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Luix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amador Luix showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eriberto Romelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Evis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Maximiliano Toro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Carlos Evis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 30 minutes into the match, Bruce Dickinson's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Evis came free, but Maximiliano Toro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, DonPi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Romelio came free, but Amador Luix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DonPi FC's Amador Luix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Romelio in the 36th minute of play. Carlos Evis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Toro having to interfere. If Erubiel Azubeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 played minutes Bruce Dickinson got a freekick which was hit by Damian Abel. Maximiliano Toro was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, DonPi FC's Amador Luix got control of the ball when Eriberto Romelio tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to DonPi FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Hipolito Gitano hit a great ball. Ricardo Loco's late challenge caught a Bruce Dickinson's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Loco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st match minute, DonPi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Loco to maneuver through the defense. Eriberto Romelio might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amador Luix. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eriberto Romelio ran back to his position shaking his head. Amador Luix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Dubardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd match minute, DonPi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Gitano to maneuver through the defense. If Esteban Dubardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. DonPi FC had played much better football throughout.
