When Rodrigo Aureo fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Potrerillo's protests and gave Rodrigo Aureo a yellow card for diving instead. La Mirage's Oséias Toscano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Potrerillo. In the 26th minute, Eusebio Isauro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aaron Leoncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 minutes of play, La Mirage's Jeremias Igon made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornelio Semeno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Potrerillo's Cornelio Semeno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Potrerillo from getting a goal against them. When Reynaldo Ignatius fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Mirage's protests and gave Reynaldo Ignatius a yellow card for diving instead. Reynaldo Ignatius hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. If Vinicio Enetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aaron Leoncio to make the kick off. Reynaldo Ignatius got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to La Mirage getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Reynaldo Ignatius hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Potrerillo's Eleuterio Gabino threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Casimiro Gizon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 56th minute, Aurelio Aresti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st match minute, Potrerillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Isauro to maneuver through the defense. Potrerillo's Cornelio Semeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Leoncio in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Feliberto Sauveur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Aureo was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After some careless play in the Potrerillo defense, Aaron Leoncio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cornelio Semeno. The Potrerillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cornelio Semeno should have stopped the shot. When Aaron Leoncio came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the La Mirage fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Leoncio couldn't finish the play. The supporters of La Mirage booed when Potrerillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Quintin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Leoncio struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Cornelio Semeno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Mirage. The audience was convinced that Feliberto Sauveur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cornelio Semeno was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. In the 97th play minute Vinicio Enetz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eleuterio Gabino. 3-1. La Mirage walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
