But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Txema couldn't finish the play. Cleto Txema scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximiliano Toro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pascual Checa in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximiliano Toro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damian Abel during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bruce Dickinson's Damian Abel got a free kick in the 12th minute. Alejo Brais hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Saynatsalo FC's Dalmacio Francho tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Maximiliano Toro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pascual Checa's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, Bruce Dickinson's Esteban Dubardo got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Cleto Txema sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amadeo Gudesteo took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximiliano Toro. Maximiliano Toro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Cleto Txema fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Toro having to interfere. In the 41st minute Saynatsalo FC were awarded a corner. Dalmacio Francho went to the cornerflag to take it. The Saynatsalo FC fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Saynatsalo FC's Pascual Checa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Esteban Dubardo made the kick off in the second half. Pascual Checa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Toro having to interfere. Maximiliano Toro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pascual Checa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 58 minute of play. Silvestre Cristofol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteban Dubardo's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute of the match, Pascual Checa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maximiliano Toro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cleto Txema's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximiliano Toro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. A hard shot 68 in the game by Cleto Txema from a close distance when the talented Maximiliano Toro managed to make a qualified save. Bruce Dickinson's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergio Mitxel during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maximiliano Toro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Checa in the 76th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bruce Dickinson's zone, Marcial Hartz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximiliano Toro came out of the goal and Marcial Hartz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saynatsalo FC made a substitution. Fabio Valery replaced Pascual Checa. Fabio Valery succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. Maximiliano Toro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cleto Txema in the 94th minute. When the match was over Saynatsalo FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bruce Dickinson throughout the match.
