In the 24th match minute, La Mirage was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Marino to maneuver through the defense. Eleuterio Gabino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Checa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliberto Sauveur's late challenge caught a Saynatsalo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliberto Sauveur helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Feliberto Sauveur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in La Mirage's zone, Pascual Checa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleuterio Gabino came out of the goal and Pascual Checa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Lorenzo Panfilo fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saynatsalo FC's protests and gave Lorenzo Panfilo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Saynatsalo FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Lorenzo Panfilo hit a great ball. The La Mirage players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Saynatsalo FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pascual Checa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Saynatsalo FC's Marcial Hartz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Pascual Checa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saynatsalo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascual Checa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleuterio Gabino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60thth minute of the game Pascual Checa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Mirage's Eleuterio Gabino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lorenzo Panfilo hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Ignatius's late challenge caught a Saynatsalo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 85th minute, Fabio Valery got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvestre Cristofol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Igon in the 89th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Aaron Leoncio managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Mirage's supporters rose to their feet, but Aaron Leoncio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Cristofol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saynatsalo FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
