The referee ignored Club Atlético Dupuy's protests and gave Felix Mel a yellow card for diving instead. Felix Mel hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Mauricio Oriche struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Paolo Walme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calmucó. Mauricio Oriche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paolo Walme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Anibal Urdaspal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Lugo in the 19th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Fernando Luzea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Dupuy's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Luzea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anibal Urdaspal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gilberto Lugo sped through Calmucó's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anibal Urdaspal. After 29 minutes of play, Club Atlético Dupuy's Fernando Luzea made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anibal Urdaspal was left in no man's land by his defense there! 32 minutes into the game, Ariel Leizarraga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calmucó's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Dupuy the free kick. If Fernando Luzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute Mauricio Oriche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Walme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Atlético Dupuy's Paolo Walme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Inguma in the 43rd minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauricio Oriche made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Dupuy's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Oriche came free, but Paolo Walme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauricio Oriche blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paolo Walme having to make a save. Leopoldo Llorian scored 1-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paolo Walme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Humberto Viator fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calmucó's protests and gave Humberto Viator a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Humberto Viator hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Inguma hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Gilberto Lugo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mauricio Oriche charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauricio Oriche the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute, Mauricio Oriche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Calmucó booed when Club Atlético Dupuy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Dantae didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Calmucó's Mauricio Oriche in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Club Atlético Dupuy players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Calmucó from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
