Spectators: 7187 (Terracing: 5392, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gustavo Munio started the match with the kick off. Alonzo Victoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basilio Jusepe in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Cogoyo Faso Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Munio came free, but Alonzo Victoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cogoyo Faso Club getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Mauricio Lehoi hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Cogoyo Faso Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Munio came free, but Alonzo Victoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alonzo Victoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Munio in the 17th minute of play. Gustavo Munio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Victoro having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Mauricio Lehoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cogoyo Faso Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauricio Lehoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alonzo Victoro came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Ambos Mundos's Basilio Jusepe. But to his dismay, Basilio Jusepe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Basilio Jusepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Wilfredo Enol fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cogoyo Faso Club's protests and gave Wilfredo Enol a yellow card for diving instead. Mauricio Lehoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gustavo Munio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 minutes of play, Cogoyo Faso Club's Mauricio Lehoi made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Nicholas was left in no man's land by his defense there!

If Basilio Jusepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cogoyo Faso Club's Eliseo Luar got a free kick in the 56th minute. Basilio Jusepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alonzo Victoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Carmelo Vito came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Cogoyo Faso Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmelo Vito couldn't finish the play. If Basilio Jusepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute, Cogoyo Faso Club's Carmelo Vito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valentin Nicholas. Valentin Nicholas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ambos Mundos's goalkeeper Valentin Nicholas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Ambos Mundos booed when Cogoyo Faso Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Vito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pablo Lixandro hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cogoyo Faso Club's zone, Basilio Jusepe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Victoro came out of the goal and Basilio Jusepe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, Cogoyo Faso Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Munio came free, but Alonzo Victoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cogoyo Faso Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
