Felix Eutropio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Mateo Lia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Maravilla's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Eutropio came free, but Mateo Lia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Vega in the 9th minute of play forced Patay's goalkeeper Narciso Quirce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes Patay got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Lauren. If Diego Vega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 16th minute, Emanuel Lauren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardo Hernando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Mateo Lia made a huge save. Diego Vega took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Narciso Quirce. Narciso Quirce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Hernando got free with Mateo Lia in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Narciso Quirce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Brais in the 32nd minute of play. Candido Brais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Quirce having to interfere. If Diego Vega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Candido Brais was the one to do the kick off. Narciso Quirce was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Diego Vega showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 57 minute of play. 63 minutes in the game, Diego Vega fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Narciso Quirce having to interfere. In the 64th minute Candido Brais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Maravilla booed when Patay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Cresencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Candido Brais in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Narciso Quirce, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 69th match minute, Patay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Federigo to maneuver through the defense. Felix Eutropio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Lia having to interfere. In the 95th minute of the match Jacinto Mendebal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Narciso Quirce showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
