Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gustavo Munio started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Ambos Mundos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leo Quintun fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vilo's Isaac Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Jusepe in the 4th minute of play. After having played for 6 minutes, Leo Quintun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Quintun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cornelio Ekialde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Valentin Nicholas made a huge save. After 8 played minutes Ambos Mundos got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Lixandro. Ambos Mundos's Valentin Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Quintun in the 9th minute of play. Cornelio Ekialde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Valentin Nicholas made a huge save. A hard shot 12 in the game by Cornelio Ekialde from a close distance when the talented Valentin Nicholas managed to make a qualified save. Ambos Mundos's players were relieved. If Leo Quintun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Basilio Jusepe sped through Vilo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Isaac Peyo. Hipolito Pueblo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 22 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the game, one of Vilo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Ambos Mundos's zone, Cornelio Ekialde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Nicholas came out of the goal and Cornelio Ekialde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulino Bikendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cornelio Ekialde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Dominguez's late challenge caught a Ambos Mundos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Dominguez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Felix Dominguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Munio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Isaac Peyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornelio Ekialde might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentin Nicholas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cornelio Ekialde ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornelio Ekialde got free with Valentin Nicholas in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cornelio Ekialde to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Cornelio Ekialde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vilo's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Ekialde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 54 minutes into the match, Vilo's Omar Salvino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valentin Nicholas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Cornelio Ekialde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Cornelio Ekialde notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ambos Mundos's Valentin Nicholas. Valentin Nicholas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felix Dominguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Nicholas having to interfere. In the 71st minute Felix Dominguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cornelio Ekialde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Felix Dominguez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valentin Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valentin Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Ekialde in the 86th minute of play. Omar Salvino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Vilo's Jaime Tallia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valentin Nicholas narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
