Maravilla's Diego Vega got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Poderoso Gael's Melquiades Nabar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Vega in the 9th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Loreto. 15 minutes into the game, Robustiano Juvenal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maravilla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poderoso Gael the free kick. Robustiano Juvenal kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The Poderoso Gael fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Poderoso Gael's Venancio Laurendi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Loreto in the 21st minute of play forced Poderoso Gael's goalkeeper Melquiades Nabar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Poderoso Gael's Melquiades Nabar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Vega in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Poderoso Gael's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Vega came free, but Melquiades Nabar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venancio Laurendi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Mateo Lia made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Gartzi in the 30th minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Mateo Lia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Loreto to maneuver through the defense. Mateo Lia acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 32nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Damaso Peter. In the 33rd minute, Diego Vega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Maravilla's Candido Brais got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute of the match Damaso Peter shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mateo Lia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Luis Roldanillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mateo Lia was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Diego Chus hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Diego Vega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maravilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Vega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diego Vega to strike the kick off in the second half. When Diego Vega came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Maravilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Vega couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Antonio Bikendi hit a great ball. Mateo Lia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Gartzi in the 58th minute of play. Mateo Lia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Roldanillo went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute Diego Vega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Nabar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Vega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Nabar having to interfere. Ignacio Loreto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Melquiades Nabar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mateo Lia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Macerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Diego Vega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Lia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Roldanillo in the 78th minute of the match. Omar Macerio hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Diego Vega reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Melquiades Nabar. The goal made the score 2-2. After 92 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Benat. Mateo Lia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Macerio in the 94th minute of the match. Maravilla were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
