In the 16th minute of the match, Alfredo Boni got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mateo Lia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 17th minute Mauricio Paskal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Lia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Vega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in el imbatible's zone, Diego Vega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Kaiet came out of the goal and Diego Vega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardino Mambru charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardino Mambru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernardino Mambru hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Mauricio Paskal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Lia having to interfere. Robustiano Juvenal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alonzo Kaiet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Maravilla's Mateo Lia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Paskal in the 40th minute of play. Mateo Lia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Boni in the 44th minute. Alonzo Kaiet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Candido Brais's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. In the 47thth minute of the game Mauricio Paskal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maravilla's Mateo Lia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Candido Brais to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Mauricio Paskal notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Maravilla's Mateo Lia. Mateo Lia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alonzo Kaiet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Candido Brais's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. After 61 minutes of play, Maravilla's Diego Vega made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alonzo Kaiet was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Maravilla's Candido Brais in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye el imbatible's goalie prevented a goal. Alonzo Kaiet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Diego Vega showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 68 minute of play. In the 71st match minute, el imbatible was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Boni to maneuver through the defense. Mateo Lia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Paskal, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauricio Paskal in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Lia saved Maravilla from getting behind. After having played for 79 minutes, Candido Brais managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maravilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Candido Brais was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mauricio Paskal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mateo Lia having to make a save. Mateo Lia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Paskal, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Maravilla were furious when Jacinto Mendebal was red carded, 86 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 87th match minute, Maravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Mendebal to maneuver through the defense. Ignacio Loreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Kaiet having to interfere.
