Candido Brais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vinicio Paskal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Mateo Lia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Diego Vega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maravilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Vega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Mendiko during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes Hercules Fc got a freekick which was hit by Armando Mendiko. Mateo Lia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Paskal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Brais in the 23rd minute of play forced Hercules Fc's goalkeeper Mateo Marz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Vega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Marz having to interfere. Mateo Lia was a little too slow when Vinicio Paskal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-0. When Domingo Onbera fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hercules Fc's protests and gave Domingo Onbera a yellow card for diving instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Candido Brais was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Vinicio Paskal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diego Vega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diego Vega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Marz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Vega in the 74th minute of play forced Hercules Fc's goalkeeper Mateo Marz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute of the match Orlando Domeka sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mateo Lia skillfully saved the ball. Diego Vega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Marz having to interfere. If Candido Brais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hercules Fc's Mateo Marz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Brais in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Paskal in the 89th minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Mateo Lia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Maravilla's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Paskal came free, but Mateo Lia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Candido Brais dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mateo Marz, 2-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Hercules Fc were victorious despite being under pressure from Maravilla for much of the match.
