Patay's Nemesio Federigo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 37th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Melquiades Nabar but with some difficulty. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Mateo Gartzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Narciso Quirce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. If Felix Eutropio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Mateo Gartzi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Narciso Quirce. That made the score 0-2 in the 71 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Emanuel Lauren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patay's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Lauren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Eutropio struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Melquiades Nabar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patay. In the 99thth minute of the game Felix Eutropio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poderoso Gael's Melquiades Nabar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Poderoso Gael players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
