Paolo Loiola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Txilar having to interfere. In the 19thth minute of the game Paolo Loiola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colon's Rodolfo Txilar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Colon's Rodolfo Txilar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Colon from getting a goal against them. Chiquito Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Nahia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hipolito Norino took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chiquito Romero. Chiquito Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Colon's zone, Severo Mitxel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Txilar came out of the goal and Severo Mitxel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Paolo Loiola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodolfo Txilar was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Chiquito Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Muc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paolo Loiola in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Txilar saved Colon from getting behind. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgardo Muc made a kick off. Chiquito Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Muc in the 52nd minute of the match. Boeing's Severo Mitxel got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boeing's Chiquito Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Muc in the 58th minute of play. Rodolfo Txilar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Mitxel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Nahia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chiquito Romero was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Edgardo Muc capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgardo Muc really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Colon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boeing the free kick. Alberto Lastur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Txilar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Iván Marcone charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iván Marcone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Boeing's Iván Marcone got a free kick in the 90th minute. When Edgardo Muc came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Colon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Muc couldn't finish the play.
