With his leg Leo Abastas managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Bando Jeans FC's Fabricio Nofre fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Donato Confesor hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. If Remigio Ibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Eutropio in the 23rd minute of play forced El Piringundín's goalkeeper Leo Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, El Piringundín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Perutxo to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Remigio Ibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Laurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Remigio Ibar managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Piringundín's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigio Ibar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Laurin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilberto Laurin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Arce in the 36th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, El Piringundín's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Eutropio came free, but Leo Abastas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victoriano Aurken was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 46th minute. Bando Jeans FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ceferino Eutropio to strike the kick off in the second half. When El Piringundín's Constantino Arce in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ceferino Eutropio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabricio Nofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Abastas having to interfere. A collision led to El Piringundín getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Nicanor Arias hit a great ball. Leo Abastas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Nofre in the 85th minute of play. Leo Abastas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Nofre in the 86th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Ceferino Eutropio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bando Jeans FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ceferino Eutropio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Abastas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Constantino Arce came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the El Piringundín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Arce couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remigio Ibar in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Laurin saved Bando Jeans FC from getting behind. In the 94th minute, Constantino Arce reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilberto Laurin. The goal made the score 0-1.
