In the 25th minute, Boeing's Alberto Lastur ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gilberto Laurin. Bando Jeans FC's Haroldo Errolan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Chiquito Romero in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Severo Mitxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Gilberto Laurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
