Santiago Iraitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Cosme Gorbea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulino Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Laureano Ferrando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 played minutes Estudiantes de La Plata got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Iraitz. Fulgencio Maju took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tadeo Beltza. Estudiantes de La Plata's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Baudelio in the 21st minute of play forced Estudiantes de La Plata's goalkeeper Tadeo Beltza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Beltza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Baudelio in the 23rd minute of the match. If Santiago Iraitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Laureano Ferrando got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 29th minute, Santiago Iraitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulino Hernandez scored 1-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cosme Gorbea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfonso Isidor hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Cosme Gorbea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Hernandez in the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulino Hernandez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, ALL BOYS JRS's Javier Hotz got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 53 played minutes Estudiantes de La Plata got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Loramendi. In the 55th minute Lucio Iruinea managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. If Paulino Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santiago Iraitz charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santiago Iraitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Santiago Iraitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Laureano Ferrando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estudiantes de La Plata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Santiago Iraitz was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 76th match minute, Estudiantes de La Plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Iraitz to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Laureano Ferrando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes de La Plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Laureano Ferrando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Gorbea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulino Hernandez in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Gorbea saved ALL BOYS JRS from getting behind. Norberto Donostia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norberto Donostia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cosme Gorbea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. When Norberto Donostia came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Estudiantes de La Plata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Donostia couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd match minute, ALL BOYS JRS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Maju to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Estudiantes de La Plata fully deserved thier win.
