After 42 minutes of play, El Piringundín's Remigio Ibar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cosme Gorbea was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 44 minutes, Donato Confesor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Piringundín and the ALL BOYS JRS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ALL BOYS JRS booed when El Piringundín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Confesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ALL BOYS JRS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Piringundín were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atilano Baudelio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Atilano Baudelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Constantino Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Gorbea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Constantino Arce showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 60 minute of play. In the 64th minute Constantino Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Gorbea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, ALL BOYS JRS's Cosme Gorbea got control of the ball when Remigio Ibar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in ALL BOYS JRS's zone, Remigio Ibar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Gorbea came out of the goal and Remigio Ibar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute Bonifacio Quintan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Abastas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantino Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ALL BOYS JRS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching El Piringundín's performance. The match ended with a win for El Piringundín.
