In the 13th minute Paulino Hernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Laurin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bando Jeans FC's Gilberto Laurin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Herena in the 15th minute of play. Gilberto Laurin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Hernandez in the 22nd minute of the match. If Fausto Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Hernandez in the 25th minute of play forced Bando Jeans FC's goalkeeper Gilberto Laurin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bando Jeans FC's Gilberto Laurin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Iraitz in the 33rd minute of play. If Fausto Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Paulino Hernandez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilberto Laurin was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Ceferino Eutropio made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Castulo during the 53rd minute. Tadeo Beltza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilberto Laurin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laureano Ferrando in the 66th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Estudiantes de La Plata's Paulino Hernandez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gilberto Laurin. That made the score 2-2 after 68 minutes of play. Gilberto Laurin made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Santiago Iraitz sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 83 in the game by Paulino Hernandez from a close distance when the talented Gilberto Laurin managed to make a qualified save. Bando Jeans FC's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Paulino Hernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes de La Plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulino Hernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Laurin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Estudiantes de La Plata's Paulino Hernandez was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 94th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Estudiantes de La Plata played a much better game than Bando Jeans FC and deserved their victory. The Bando Jeans FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
