Siro Ler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in F.C Buenos Aires's zone, Herminio Frederik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siro Ler came out of the goal and Herminio Frederik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Haroldo Rosio put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Siro Ler. 20 minutes into the game, Herminio Frederik lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Siro Ler. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Rosio in the 25th minute of play forced F.C Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Siro Ler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in F.C Buenos Aires's zone, Herminio Frederik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siro Ler came out of the goal and Herminio Frederik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herminio Frederik who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Siro Ler when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldomiro Orain during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes F.C Buenos Aires got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Orain. Herminio Frederik did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Siro Ler 44 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herminio Frederik made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Herminio Frederik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Siro Ler was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Eriberto Abascal kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Haroldo Rosio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Ler having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Frederik in the 60th minute of play forced F.C Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Siro Ler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, F.C Buenos Aires's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Frederik came free, but Siro Ler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F.C Buenos Aires's Siro Ler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Rosio in the 65th minute of play. Herminio Frederik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Siro Ler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Frederik in the 68th minute of play. Haroldo Rosio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haroldo Rosio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Ler having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, F.C Buenos Aires was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Orain to maneuver through the defense. Haroldo Rosio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haroldo Rosio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that CLUB ATLETICO BELGRANO were the better team. CLUB ATLETICO BELGRANO's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
