Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Osvaldo Odilon kicked off to start the match. If Roque Abadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Merexildo might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Celio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosme Merexildo ran back to his position shaking his head. Suipacha's Victor Cresitobalo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 13th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 17th match minute, Club Atlético River BR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Oliveiro to maneuver through the defense. Eloy Nastasio came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Francisco Austin could save by the left post. If Victor Cresitobalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 30 minutes, Cosme Merexildo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético River BR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosme Merexildo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Suipacha's Alvaro Bernad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Austin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When Cosme Merexildo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Club Atlético River BR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosme Merexildo couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roque Abadie to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Alvaro Bernad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Cresitobalo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Roque Abadie took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Carlos Celio to make any attempt to save it. In the 67th minute Roque Abadie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Celio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 played minutes Suipacha got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Aragones. Roque Abadie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Celio having to interfere. Carlos Celio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cosme Merexildo in the 84th minute. Gavino Lucado charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavino Lucado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Suipacha booed when Club Atlético River BR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Lucado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atlético River BR's Francisco Austin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Cresitobalo in the 90th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiburcio Aragones during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club Atlético River BR booed when Suipacha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Aragones didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosme Merexildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Carlos Celio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
