Alvaro Evis started the match with the kick off. Tipas FC's Emilio Fagondo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Tipas FC from getting a goal against them. Alvaro Evis succeeded in the game's 7th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Amadeo Sabin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Mendiko in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute of the match Goicó got a corner. Tipas FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Epifanio Gaskon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bernabe Galsinos short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Emilio Fagondo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Maximiliano Bixintxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alvaro Evis came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Goicó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Evis couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 37 in the game by Bernabe Galsino from a close distance when the talented Emilio Fagondo managed to make a qualified save. Tipas FC's players were relieved. If Godfredo Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Godfredo Mendiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Sabin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximiliano Bixintxo was the one to do the kick off. After 54th play minutes Bernabe Galsino shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Emilio Fagondo and just under the crossbar into goal. Benigno James hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Bernabe Galsino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosme Baudelio's late challenge caught a Goicó's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosme Baudelio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tipas FC's Cosme Baudelio got a free kick in the 65th minute. Emilio Fagondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Evis in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Galsino in the 71st minute of play forced Tipas FC's goalkeeper Emilio Fagondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Epifanio Gaskon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emilio Fagondo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benigno James during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 played minutes, Goicó's Epifanio Gaskon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emilio Fagondo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Goicó reached it. Amadeo Sabin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Bixintxo in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Goicó's Luis Iturri got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute, Benigno James hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Tipas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Evis came free, but Emilio Fagondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godfredo Mendiko got free with Amadeo Sabin in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximiliano Bixintxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Amadeo Sabin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
