To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Cubanea FC booed when Goicó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Iago didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Cubanea FC's Serafin Goito tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Amadeo Sabin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Fernendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Cipriano Fernendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cubanea FC's zone, Alvaro Evis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Ondino came out of the goal and Alvaro Evis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeo Sabin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Abarca in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute Israel Abarca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Sabin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Evis was the one to do the kick off. Natalio Perfecto hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Dante Ondino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Galsino in the 58th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Cubanea FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Hustaz. Dante Ondino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Evis, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 68 minutes in the game, Israel Abarca fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Amadeo Sabin having to interfere. When %teams%'s Israel Abarca was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-1 just inside the left pole, 77 minutes into the game. Amadeo Sabin was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Bernabe Galsino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Ondino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Cipriano Fernendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
